The CALL to Host Pitch In for Kids at January 9 Basketball Game

Fans attending the Caddo Hills versus Murfreesboro basketball game on January 9th, 2026, will have the opportunity to support local children and families in need during a special community outreach event.
The CALL in Pike and Montgomery Counties will be hosting a “Pitch In for Kids” donation drive during halftime of the Senior Girls game. During halftime, fans are encouraged to throw donated items onto the court as a way to support children and families served by The CALL.
Christy Sanders, the Affiliated Director for The CALL in Pike and Montgomery Counties, discussed the mission of the organization.
Sanders added that the event aims to raise awareness within the community while also providing items to foster children in the program.
Items being collected include baby wipes, winter or summer pajamas for girls and boys in sizes 2T through 10/12, socks, underwear, and packages of paper plates. Organizers say every donated item makes a difference.
Community members are encouraged to bring donations, cheer on the teams, and help make a positive impact for local families.
For more information about The CALL and how to get involved, residents are encouraged to attend the game and participate in the donation drive.
