Theft Charges Filed In Pike County

A Montgomery County resident has been charged with theft of property in Pike County.

Authorities say 36 year old Jennifer Taylor of the Story community is accused of stealing a pontoon trailer that had been parked at Lake Greeson.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies were at Taylor’s residence to arrest her on unrelated charges and discovered the trailer. While later questioning Taylor, deputies say she admitted to stealing the trailer in late May.

Police say the trailer was owned by a Hope resident who was unaware it had been removed.
