Three Juveniles Injured in De Queen Shooting; Arrest Warrants Issued

According to De Queen Police Chief Scott Simmons, the Sevier County 911 emergency system received a call reporting a shooting near the intersection of Third Street and Vandervoort Avenue in the City of De Queen Monday evening at approximately 9 p.m.
Officers with the De Queen Police Department and deputies from the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the area, with assistance from the Arkansas State Police.
Upon arrival at the scene, located at 224 West Vandervoort Avenue, law enforcement officers found three juvenile males suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to Sevier County Medical Center for treatment.
During the investigation, officers located numerous spent shell casings along Vandervoort Avenue and were able to identify several suspects. Arrest warrants have since been obtained for three individuals.
The names of the suspects are being withheld at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
