Trial Dates Set For Later This Year In Pike County

An October trial date has been given for a Texarkana woman charged with Theft of Property in Pike County.

36 year old Emily Jane Owen entered a not guilty plea to the charges yesterday and was given a pre-trial date of September 28th and a trial date of October 29th. Owen was accused of stealing a car recently in Murfeesboro.

In other cases from Monday in Pike County, 19 year old Izek Brock of Glenwood is scheduled to stand trial in November on charges of drug possession. Brock was arrested at a traffic stop in Glenwood. Prosecutors say Brock had a clear plastic baggie in his pants that contained a a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine.

A November trial date is also scheduled for 21 year old Chance Gatlin of Langley. He is charged with Aggravated Assault and a misdemeanor battery count.
