Two Injuries Reported In Nashville Fire

Two Tyson employees in Nashville were reportedly injured in an overnight blaze.

The Nashville fire department was dispatched to the local Tyson facility at 2:09 Thursday morning.

According to chief Justin Thornton, the fire was extinguished at approximately 3:40 AM.

Units from County Line, Centerpoint, Mineral Springs and Yancey assisted.

The two injured individuals were flown to the burn unit at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

The Tyson facility is not operating the cookroom first or second shift on Thursday.  Sanitation is working on the normal schedule.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
