Two men sentenced to ADC in Pike County
Two prison sentences were imposed Monday in Pike County Circuit Court. 56 year old Harry Post, of Okolona, was given a 10 year prison sentence, with a five years suspended, on charges of arson and felony fleeing. Authorities said Post was responsible for setting vehicles on fire in May at a residence on Highway 26 in the Delight area. When firemen arrived, they found the fire had also spread to the residence.
Post’s sentence will be served concurrently with sentences from Nevada and Clark counties.
Also yesterday, a Nashville man, 42 year old Ravid Rhodes, was sentenced to three years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Rhodes was charged with Theft By Receiving in connection with the September theft of a motorcycle on Highway in Pike County. Deputies said Rhodes was the driver of the motorcycle when they conducted a traffic stop the same night the cycle had been stolen.
Rhodes’ sentence from Pike County will also be served concurrently with a prison sentence on charges in Howard County.
