On Saturday, March 12, NJHS Robotics competed at the Arkansas State VEX Robotics Tournament at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. Teams A and C made it into the Final round matches as alliance partners.  They immediately took out two powerhouse teams in the quarterfinals with a score of 160-0!  They proceeded to fight their way through the semifinals and into the Final round which automatically qualified them both to compete at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, May 3-5. Team C also won the Innovate Award, which also qualified them for a spot at the World Championship. These are the first NJHS Robotics teams to ever qualify to compete at such a distinguished level. Only ten Arkansas middle school teams are invited to compete at VEX Worlds.  The VEX World Championship is the largest Robotics event in the world with over 500 middle school teams from across the world competing.
