Ty Gordon signs to play baseball with Arkansas State
Nashville Scrapper Ty Gordon signed a scholarship offer Wednesday morning to play college baseball at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Gordon says he knew he was going to be a Red Wolf after visiting the college:
Scrappers Baseball Coach Kyle Slayton says Gordon has been a special player for the his program:
Gordon has played in 13 post season baseball games as a Scrapper and Nashville has won all 13 of those games, with Gordon having a 500 batting average in the playoffs. For his Scrapper career, he is a 398 hitter through 79 games.
Also signing yesterday, was Lainie Baxter of Murfreesboro. She plans to play basketball at Ouachita Baptist University.
