Tyson Draws Random Winners for Cash for Being Vaccinated.

Tyson announced on August 3rd it will be requiring all U.S. based employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine to continue employment with the company. A deadline of October 1st is in place for officers employees within the company while a deadline of November 1st exists for plant employees.

To further incentivize employees to be inoculated Tyson has announced around $50,000 will be given to employees that receive their vaccine. This is being done in the form of a random drawing. Last week a drawing took place with a $10,000 winner. Sources within Tyson say in the coming weeks the winnings will be broken down into 2 $5,000 winners, 4 $2,500 winners, and so on until funds have been distributed.

Arkansas’ vaccination rate continues to rank low amongst states in the US being around 40% fully vaccinated.
