U of A Division of Agriculture Southwest Research and Extension Center hosting Summer Forage Field Day
On Thursday July 11th, the University of Arkansas’ Division of Agriculture Southwest Research and Extension Center in Hope is set to host a Summer Forage Field Day, scheduled from 8:00 am to 11:30 am. The event will include sessions on plant identification, forage renovation, fertility trials, as well as weed control trials and demonstrations, alongside discussions on future forage trials. There is no need for pre-registration.
Also, next week the Dierks Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 51st Annual Pine Tree Festival next Saturday July 13th. Craig Dodson will be providing live entertainment and dinner will be served as well, both starting at 6pm. Smoked Chicken, baked beans, potato salad and bread will be on the menu. Check-in and late sign-ups for the annual pine tree 5k run will also be at 6pm, fun run for ages 10 and under at 7pm and the 5k race will start at 7:30pm with a $25 registration fee. This event will take place at the Horseshoe Bend at Dierks Lake.
