UA Cossatot adding shooting sports and soccer

Wednesday, Dr. Steve Cole of UA Cossatot announced the college has started a shooting sports team and they will start competing in the fall. 

Cole said they currently have 7 student-athletes signed to compete on the Colts Shooting Sports team, but they plan to sign a total of 10-men and 10-women.

Cole also announced UA Cossatot will be adding soccer in the fall of 2023. He said they will have a men’s and women’s team with 20 players each.

Cole said UA Cossatot has also started an International Student Program in an attempt to attract students from around the world.

Nashville Rotary President Nick Birmingham reported Avery Hood was the recipient of the Rotary Club scholarship. Hood will be attending the University of Central Arkansas in the fall.
