Umpire Volunteer Fire Department to Host Annual Fish Fry Fundraiser May 30

The Umpire Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual Fish Fry Fundraiser on Saturday, May 3rd, at the Umpire Fire Department, located at 15790 Highway 278 in Dierks.

Dinner will be served starting at 5:00 p.m., with plates available by donation. The menu features a generous spread including fish, chicken, hush puppies, French fries, coleslaw, beans, and a cold drink.

Following the meal, guests can enjoy a live auction, with all proceeds going directly toward purchasing vital equipment and training for the department’s dedicated volunteer firefighters.

Organizers are encouraging the community to come out and show support. The event is a key fundraiser that helps keep the department ready and responsive for emergencies in the Umpire area.
