Upcoming HC 4-H activities

Members of the Howard County 4-H have several upcoming contests that they can compete in.

The first is the Ross Photography Contest. All entries are due at the office by Friday, March 25. All members ages 9-19 are eligible to compete. 4-H members may enter two color photographs, one must be in the living category and one in the non-living category and two black and white photographs.

Four county winners, one from each category, will be selected.

The dairy food contest is scheduled for Monday, March 28 at the EH Center beginning at 6 pm. There are two categories. They are Party Ideas and Main Dish. 4-Her’s may enter two dishes.

Entries for the Howard County 4-H t-shirt design contest are due Friday, April 8.

And finally there’s the indoor and outdoor O’Ramas.

The indoor O’Rama is Monday, April 18 at the EH Center at 3:30 pm. The indoor O’Rama will feature everything from fashion review, talks, demonstrations and talent.

The outdoor O’Rama is Tuesday, April 19 at the city park at 3:30. The outdoor O’Rama will feature BB, archery, fishing and bicycle.
