Update on Nashville weight room renovation
Athletic programs within the Nashville School District are getting an upgrade in weight room equipment. This week, the Nashville School Board accepted a recommendation from Superintendent Doug Graham to purchase new weight room equipment, at a price of $122,674 dollars.
Scrapper football Coach Mike Volarvich is appreciative of the commitment being made by the administration and board. Volarvich said the upgrade will benefit more than just the football program:
Superintendent Graham said the equipment is being purchased through Legend Fitness, which is one of the top weight room equipment providers in the nation. The package from Legend Fitness also includes a new non-slip floor, which is something other companies did not offer.
