USACE announces temporary closure of Big Coon Campground DEQUEEN, Ark

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will temporarily close the Big Coon Campground on Gillham Lake from Dec. 6, 2024, through Feb. 28, 2025, for routine maintenance. During the closure, the Cossatot Reefs Campground will remain open for camping. USACE officials regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the public’s cooperation until the work is complete. For more information, contact the DeQueen Field Office at 870-584-4161.
