USACE Little Rock Water Level App Re-Released

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, is excited to announce the re-release of the USACE Little Rock Water Level App, a trusted tool for anglers, navigators, paddlers, and park visitors across Arkansas and southern Missouri. Originally launched in 2013, the app has undergone a complete rebuild to improve performance, enhance user experience, and ensure reliable access to critical waterway data.

“While we regret the app’s temporary downtime during the redevelopment process, we sincerely appreciate your patience and are confident users will find the new version well worth the wait,” said USACE Little Rock District Chief of Public Affairs, Jay Townsend.

The Apple iOS version will be available for download today, with the Android version expected within the next couple of days. Users can search “USACE Little Rock” in the App Store or Google Play to download the free app. While users should be able to simply “update” their app through the app store, we recommend that users delete the old app and download the updated version.

Designed with feedback gathered from user polls and social media input, the updated app continues to offer:

  • Current lake levels, forecasts, and turbine releases
  • Arkansas River forecasts and stage data
  • Southwestern Power Administration’s projected generation schedules
  • Real-time U.S. Geological Survey streamflow data
  • National Weather Service data and forecasts

The app remains a vital resource for the towing industry, recreational boaters, anglers, and anyone needing up-to-date water condition information throughout the Little Rock District, including the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System.
