Warrant issued for a Hot Springs man in Pike County

October 23, a warrant was issued for 28-year-old Kaleb Calley of Hot Springs for his fifth probation revocation by Circuit Court Judge Tom Copper in Pike County.

In November of 2017, Calley was arrested and charged with Forgery in the second degree, which is a Class C felony. He was found guilty in January of 2018 and sentenced to 5years probation. Calley had 24-months added to his sentence in July of 2018 for a probation violation and another 24-months added to his sentence for his fourth probation revocation in November of 2022.

On August 21 of 2023, Calley agreed to the conditions of his probation after it was extended for another 24-months.

However, a petition to revoke Calley’s probation was submitted by the prosecuting attorney Dustin Bissell in the Pike County Circuit Court on October 23.

Bissell submitted a report of probated sentence violation and recommendation to revoke due to the fact that Calley failed to abstain from the use of alcohol or drugs, failed to report to his supervising officer and failed to pay court ordered financial obligations.

Bissell reported Calley had been arrested for public intoxication in Garland County on August 19 and was asserted for possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication in Garland County on August 28.

After hearing the evidence against Calley, Judge Cooper issued an arrest warrant for Calley.
