Wilcher updates South Pike County School Board on Covid protocols

Covid-19 was a topic of discussion at last night’s meeting of the South Pike County School Board. Tanya wilcher is the district’s Director of Programs. She reported on several changes to the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines. Wilcher told board members there are three priorities she has when a student tests positive for the virus.

Wilcher reported the district currently has 22 students who are positive and 86 are quarantined for close contact. She said there are 2 faculty members who tested positive and 6 quarantined for close contact.
