Williams arrested for aggravated assault and domestic battery
One person was arrested over the weekend following a report of shots fired in the 15 hundred block of South Ansley Street in Nashville. Police Chief Amy Marion said when officers arrived, they began speaking with the victim, identified as 25 year old Alexis Bradley. She told police that she and her boyfriend, identified as 32 year old Demario Williams became involved a verbal argument, which turned physical. Police reports say the fight began inside the residence and continued outside of the home.
Bradley told police that Williams and another individual began leaving the scene in a vehicle and Williams fired two rounds in her direction from the passenger side of the car. Police say Bradley received injuries from the altercation, but no one was hit by the gunfire.
Williams was located a short time later and arrested. He’s been charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault. He is being held in the Howard County Jail, awaiting a first court appearance.
