Wilton man sentenced to ADC for intimidating a witness

A Wilton resident was sentenced to four years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections yesterday in Pike County Circuit Court.  36 year old Bobby Payne was also given a six year suspended sentence on charges of intimidating a witness.  Prosecutors said Payne was part of an altercation that took place in January at the Pike County Jail.  Several inmates were involved in the incident against one inmate, according to prosecutors.

Payne’s charge will be served at the same time as a sentence from another county.
