Younger charged with possession of firearm and drug paraphernalia

Howard County Court brought 40 YO James Younger of Nashville today. Mr. Younger is accused of being in Possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia. The facts surrounding the case are as follows: On April 1st around 12:10am city officers were dispatched to the Roadway-Inn motel, in reference to a verbal altercation in the parking lot. After officers arrived they observed the two subjects in question and later identified the one of interest as James Younger. Officers made contact with the two and upon questioning the female she said that she was walking around with Mr. Younger and his intentions were to sell or trade for drugs. Officers performed a pat down on Younger and found a 45 caliber handgun in the back of his pants wrapped in a yellow rag. Officers also found a small metal pipe in Mr. Younger’s pocket that Police say is commonly used for smoking methamphetamine. Younger was placed under arrest and booked into the Howard County Jail.
