MSSD practice test scores show significant improvement

Mineral Springs Superintendent Billy Lee reported the district’s iReady reading test scores indicate significant growth.

Lee stated the district is being viewed as a pilot school. Because Mineral Springs is the only district in the state that is using Monday for remediation only. He said he felt things are going well and academic scores are improving.

Board members were informed the district has spent their ESSR 1 and ESSR 2 funds and that their ESSR 3 funds have been obligated. The board also approved the purchase of shot clocks for next season.
