Nashville School District moving forward with work on Wilson Park

The Nashville School District is proceeding with plans to seek a construction manager for additional renovations to Wilson Park. At Monday’s February meeting, the school board voted to begin the process of putting the project to a cost estimate. Superintendent Doug Graham says he expects several of the district’s past project managers to be interested in the baseball project:

The proposal includes a new concession stand, restroom facilities, press box and filming deck, along with additional chair back seats.

Following a 30 minute executive session Monday evening, the Nashville School Board voted to re-employ all of the administrative personnel in their present positions. The resignation of bus drive Melissa Gandy was accepted, and the contract of custodian Alisha Perez was terminated, effective February 3rd.
Several hirings were also made by the board, including Karen Kell as bus driver, Amanda Beth Perrin as Primary Special Education Teacher, Erin Bell for Jr. High Special Education, Stacy Purnell for Financial Literacy, and Ashley Elmore was employed as a Family and Consumer Science teaching position.
