COVID 19 forces delay in child porn case

Covid-19 issues is forcing a trial delay for a Delight man. 25 year old Dakota Lee Rector was arrested last year on charges of Computer Child Pornography. He was originally scheduled for trial January 28th. A motion on Rector’s behalf was presented yesterday in Pike County Circuit Court to continue the proceedings, due to COVID-19. The motion was granted. Rector’s trial will include a pre-trial date of April 5th and a trial date of April 29th.
