Fatal Vehicle Accident Friday Evening in Howard County

A Lockesburg resident and former Mineral Springs High School graduate died in a one vehicle accident on Friday evening in Howard County. According to an Arkansas State Police preliminary fatal crash report, 20 year old Octavion Ceaser was traveling westbound on Highway 27 near Mineral Springs at approximately 10:46 p.m. The report states that while negotiating a curve, the 1999 Mercury left the roadway down a rock shoulder and overturned several times before stopping. Investigating officer Cpl. Travis Hale noted wet road conditions and rain at the time of the accident.
