100 voters cast their vote early in Howard County on first day of early voting

One hundred voters went to the polls Monday for the opening day of early voting at the Carter Day Center in Nashville.  Howard County Clerk Keri Teague said about three out of every four voters yesterday cast a Republican party ballot.  The remaining votes were all cast on the Democratic party ballot.  Teague said no one voted with the non partisan ballot yesterday.

Early voting continues through Friday, May 20th, between the hours of eight a.m. and six p.m. each weekday.  Saturday voting hours will be 10 to 4, and the final day of early voting May 23rd, will be from 8 to 5 at locations in Nashville and Dierks.
