High School Basketball Season Starts Next Week

The 1A high school basketball season gets underway next week. Kirby High School will host the Maroon and Gray game this evening (October 17) at 5:00. There will also be a cookout fundraiser to benefit Trojan Athletics, starting at 4:15. The cookout will include a grilled hamburger or hot dog meal for five dollars. Gate entry to the event will be monetary donations and/or towels and detergent for the Jr and Sr high teams.

Kirby will participate in the Blevins Junior Jamboree on October 21st. The Trojans open the season at Bradley on October 22nd. Blevins will start their season at Emerson next Monday.
