Mineral Springs City Council

Mineral Springs City Council met for their monthly meeting Monday evening. Mayor Vera Marks announced that talks between Premier Broadband have indicated that by the end of the year the city of Mineral Springs will have access to another internet service provider as work is currently underway. The city is considering the purchase of a new tractor as well as garbage truck as both of these items owned by the city are currently in less than desirable conditions and often inoperable. No action was taken for either of these items at this meeting. The board entered executive session discussing the need to fill the Street Supervisor position but took no action upon reconvening.
