Do Not Call Registry

If you find yourself tired of  telemarketers or various sellers contacting you about the services they offer then you might be interested to look into the Do Not Call Registry. The Do Not Call Registry allows you to register both landline and wireless numbers to have your number removed from various Telemarketers and sellers lists. The Arkansas Do Not Call list has been merged with the federal list allowing those participating in either to enjoy the protections of both.

Telemarketers are required to reference this registry once per month and drop numbers from their call lists. Failing to do so subject these companies to hefty fines. Some allowances to this list include organizations with which you have done business with in the last 18 months and nonprofit organizations. It is important to note that these calls are not allowed to take place before 8am or after 9pm.
