Fatal Accident Saturday in Sevier County

Three individuals have died and two others are injured following a two vehicle accident in Sevier County Saturday afternoon. According to a preliminary report by the Arkansas State Police, the accident occurred on State Highway 41 South near DeQueen. Twenty five year old Justin Williams of Taylor, Texas was the driver of a 2016 Dodge Ram traveling north on Highway 41. His vehicle crossed the center line, striking the front of a 2013 Buick Enclave headed south. The Buick overturned several times coming to rest upright. Three occupants were pronounced on scene by Coroner Jeff Marshall at 5:05 p.m. The deceased included the driver, 32 year old Jessica Baig of Horatio and passengers 35 year old Mirza Baig and a female minor. Another minor was injured in the accident…and Williams. The injured were taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital and a Texarkana Hospital.
