Give Blood & Win a PS5

We hear a lot that hospitals and blood banks across the state and nation are running critically low concerning their supply of blood. But what does this actually mean? Many hospitals and blood banks measure their reserves by “days on hand” of blood available. Meaning, if a hospital received no further blood from outside sources they have, under normal conditions, X amount of days to operate with their current supply of blood. 

Our very own Howard Memorial hospital isn’t invincible to these challenges and thus regularly hosts blood drives to be prepared for when the community needs them most. Today from 11am through 5pm LifeShare will be at the Howard Memorial hospital accepting your life saving blood donation.

As an added incentive, all donors who give blood through Thursday December 23rd will be entered into a drawing to receive a free PlayStation 5, as well as a LifeShare t-shirt.
