Townsend signs letter of intent to play for National Park College

Nashville Scrapperette Sidney Townsend has signed a scholarship to play college basketball at National Park College in Hot Springs.  Townsend capped her high school career this season by sinking a three point shot with only seconds remaining to give Nashville a victory over Farmington in the 4A State Championship.  Dominique Battles is National Park’s first year head coach.  He saw Townsend play earlier this season and knew from that game that she was going to be a top recruit:
