Dierks School Board reviews district finances
The Dierks School District held their regular monthly meeting Tuesday.
Federal Programs Coordinator Kayla Jones explained the financial statement to the Board. Jones stated the main difference in their revenue was $43,648.84. This was due to the district not receiving declining enrollment this year. This time last year Dierks School District received a check for $43,377.00.
Jones mentioned if their ADM holds at 525, next year they would receive $76,928 dollars and they are expecting to get a little student growth this year which would be about $27,000 according to their numbers right now. Jones said food service continues to hold a healthy balance and there’s not any changes in the remaining bond funds.
