Nashville Chamber held changing of the guard during annual awards banquet

Monday night during the annual awards banquet of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, the leadership torch was passed from retiring chamber executive director, Mike Reese to the new executive director, Tim Pinkerton.

Reese served as the executive director since 2010. Reese was named the Nashville Chamber Man of the Year in 1985, when he was the owner of the local NAPA store.

Pinkerton recently retired from First State Bank in Nashville after working in the banking industry for the past 38 years. Pinkerton was the Nashville Chamber Man of the Year in 2018.

Chamber Board of Directors president, Carlos Martinez passed the leadership torch to incoming board president Michelle Boone, who received the Woman of the Year Award and a new business award as a business partner with Impact Counseling Clinic.

The other new business honorees were Nashville Jewelry and Nashville Family Pharmacy.

The chamber recognized the outgoing board members, Carol Murray, Nichole Aylett, Noel Couch and Mark Dale. And, the recognized the new board members: Kristen Stavely, Priscilla Faulkner and Susie Berruquin.

Larry Teague was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award.
