Lamb reported this year’s fair will feature 98 exhibitors and they will be showing over 200 heads of livestock.
This year’s Howard County Fair will feature a swine show on Tuesday at 9 am and a beef cattle show at 4 pm. There will be a dairy cattle show at 9 am on Wednesday followed by the dairy goat show at 10, meat goats at 4 pm and sheep at 6. Rabbit and poultry shows will be held on Thursday.
This year’s fair will have vendors, live music Tuesday through Saturday at 6 pm, a carnival Thursday through Saturday, the Ranch Rodeo on Friday and Bull and Bronc Riding on Saturday.
Bean said the Howard County Fair is growing and its because of the community and the current fair board members.
