Glenwood Police Department recovers stolen ATV, suspect charged with Theft Of Property

On September 25th, Glenwood Chief of Police Michael Lesher was dispatched to 155 County Line Drive in reference to an ATV being stolen.

Upon arrival at the location, Chief Lesher spoke with family members of the property owner. They informed Lesher that a dark colored Ford F150 backed onto the property and two unknown white males loaded an early 90’s model Polaris ATV into the truck.

The family provided photos of the vehicle and of the suspects loading the ATV into the truck.

Then Lesher spoke with the property owner and the property owner stated he is the owner of the ATV, but he hadn’t given anyone permission to take it.

Based on the photos, the suspect was identified as 24 year old Klint Yarbrough of Glenwood.

3 days later, Klint Yarbrough was arrested on unrelated warrants. Chief Lesher spoke with Yarbrough concerning the theft of the ATV. Yarbrough confessed that he and another male took the ATV. Along with the confession, Yarbrough provided the address of where the ATV was located.

Chief Lesher went to the address with Deputies from the Pike County Sheriff’s Office. They photographed the ATV and returned it to the owner.

Yarbrough was charged with Theft of Property.
