Shooting in Texarkana under investigation

Police in Texarkana, Texas are investigating a shooting that left 17-year-old Jason Hubbard dead. The shooting occurred early Monday morning at about 1:30 am in the 1000 block of College Drive.

When officers arrived on the scene they discovered the deceased victim inside an apartment.

A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested and transported to the juvenile detention facility. Officers also recovered a gun that was reportedly stolen in the Hope area.

The incident is still under investigation and officers are hoping to find answers to a lot of questions about what happened.
