Nashville man arrested for criminal trespassing
On February 25th, officers of the Nashville Police Department were dispatched to 306 E Russell Street in reference to a Hispanic male and a white female breaking into the residence. According to the affidavit, the caller advised dispatch that the two individuals were wearing dark clothing.
It was reported that when Officer David Shelby arrived on the scene, he observed two individuals matching the description walking North on Ansley Street away from the residence. Shelby then tried to make contact with the suspects, but the male took off running, who was later identified as 32-year-old Rodolfo Delao of Nashville. Shelby detained the female who was identified as 32-year-old Memory Jones.
Officers questioned Jones about Delao, but she allegedly told officers that she was by herself. Officers then made contact with the property owner, and she informed officers that Jones and Delao had been told to stay off the property on several occasions. Jones was then transported to the Howard County Jail and booked in for residential burglary, and criminal trespass. Officers also located Delao and transported him to the Howard County Jail where he was also charged with Criminal Trespass and Residential Burglary.
