Traffic stop in Howard County leads to arrest
On March 19th, Nashville K9 Officer Greg Parker conducted a traffic stop on a gray Dodge Charger for running a stop sign.
According to the affidavit the driver was identified as Dalton Coffman of Nashville. It was reported that Parker could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and he also noticed a glass jar sitting on the front floorboard on the passenger side which contained suspected marijuana. Parker then reportedly placed Coffman into custody. Officers then retrieved the jar, another jar of suspected marijuana that was under the front passenger seat and a THC vape pen that was also inside the vehicle.
Coffman was charged with possession of a schedule VI-controlled substance with the purpose to deliver.
