Dierks Pine Tree Festival features New Hope Extreme Wrestling Friday night

The 49th annual Pine Tree Festival in Dierks is this Friday and Saturday in the Dierks City Park.

This year’s festival will include several crowd favorite events like the loader competition at 8 am Saturday morning, a bake off, a 5K and the annual parade at 10 am. It will also feature a kid’s carnival, bounce house, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors and live entertainment both Friday and Saturday.

This year’s festival will also feature New Hope Extreme Wrestling on Friday night at 7 pm in the rodeo arena. New Hope Extreme Wrestling promoter Jeremy Crider stated New Hope Extreme Wrestling will feature a full card of 8-bouts featuring some of the area’s top sports entertainers.

Crider said New Hope Extreme Wrestling is different because it was started with the fans and wrestlers in mind.

Friday night will begin with a meet and greet at 7 pm. Admission is $5 for kids 7 to 12, $10 for adults 13 and up, $15 for ringside and 6 and under are free.
