Holiday Week Schedule for Howard and Pike Counties Rural Trash Collection

For residents of Howard County, there are some important updates regarding the rural trash collection schedule for this holiday week.

Today, the rural trash route will run on its normal schedule. However, there will be no trash collection on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th.

Trash pickup will resume on Friday, November 29th, when both the Thursday and Friday routes will be collected.

Residents are reminded to have their trash bagged and placed out for pickup by 7:00 a.m. on their scheduled collection day to ensure timely service.

Pike County residents are reminded of changes to the trash pickup schedule for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

Regular trash pickup will occur on Wednesday, November 27. However, due to Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 28, there will be no trash collection on that day. Instead, all Thanksgiving Day pickups will be rescheduled for Monday, December 2.

Residents are advised to plan accordingly and have their trash out by the usual time on Monday for the rescheduled pickup.
