Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Set for Saturday, May 10
This Saturday, May 10, residents can make a big difference in the fight against hunger without leaving home. As part of the nationwide Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, community members are encouraged to fill a bag with healthy, non-perishable food items and leave it by their mailbox.
Local letter carriers will collect the donations during their regular mail routes and deliver them to area food banks and pantries. It’s a simple way for residents to support families in need right in their own communities.
Organizers remind participants to use sturdy bags and include items such as canned vegetables, soups, pasta, rice, peanut butter, and cereal. Every contribution helps in the effort to combat food insecurity.
Fill a Bag. Help Feed Families.
