Community Urged to Donate at Upcoming Blood Drive in Nashville

The City of Nashville is calling on residents to roll up their sleeves and help save lives at an upcoming community blood drive on Friday, June 20, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Nashville City Hall, 426 N. Main Street.

Hosted in partnership with LifeShare Blood Center, the drive encourages locals to make a difference, with a simple but powerful message: “Let’s Get Crackin’!”

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Hospitals and clinics nationwide rely on nearly 42,000 blood components each day to treat patients battling illness, injury, or undergoing surgeries. Yet, blood shortages remain a persistent issue — something that could be eliminated if just 1% more Americans chose to donate.

All donors will receive a free LifeShare t-shirt as a token of appreciation.

Walk-ins are welcome, but residents are encouraged to sign up in advance to help streamline the process.
