HARVEST REGIONAL FOOD BANK TO DISTRIBUTE USDA FOOD BOXES TO HEMPSTEAD COUNTY RESIDENTS
Harvest Regional Food Bank is continuing its mission to fight hunger in Southwest Arkansas by hosting a mobile food distribution for Hempstead County residents on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., or until all food boxes have been distributed.
The distribution will take place at the Fair Park Coliseum, located at 800 S. Mockingbird Lane in Hope. Food will be distributed directly from the truck, but residents must check in first at the Southwest District Livestock Show Coliseum building.
After checking in, recipients will return to their vehicles and proceed to line up around the baseball field next to the coliseum. Volunteers will be on site to help manage traffic and assist with loading food boxes.
The food boxes are part of the TEFAP USDA Emergency Food Assistance Program and are limited to one box per household, with a maximum of two households per vehicle.
To receive food, residents must provide an updated driver’s license with a current Hempstead County address or photo ID and proof of residence.
The next Mobile Pantry distribution in Hempstead County is scheduled for September 10, 2025.
