City of Mineral Springs reconciles 2022 budget to close out fiscal year

The Mineral Springs City Council had a special meeting yesterday.

Treasurer Denise Juniel explained to the council how the items were listed on the 2022 expense budget report and how it needed to be corrected.

There was a 3 to 1 vote to reconcile the 2022 expense budget.

Chief of Police Francisco Mercado welcomed Daniel Rojas to the Mineral Springs Police Department and he mentioned that Rojas will be going to the Police Academy on January 8th 2023.

Mercado stated Rojas’ start off pay will be $27,500 annually and once he graduates the academy his pay will increase.
