Howard County Charges Filed Against Murfreesboro Man

A Murfreesboro resident has been charged with forgery in Howard County. 33 year old Michael Sloan is accused of writing two checks on the account of a Nashville resident in December. Both checks were written to businesses in Murfreesboro. After receiving the complaint, Nashville police investigator Tim Bowlin visited one of the businesses, where an individual later identified as Sloan, was allegedly seen on store surveillance video attempting to pass one of the stolen checks.
