Nashville Schools Not In Session
Even though students aren’t attending classes today in the Nashville Public School District, superintendent Doug Graham said Sunday that personnel need to report as normal Monday.
While out of school this week, the district will use A.M.I. days two through six. The Superintendent said parents of Nashville Primary School students need to pick up their student’s A.M.I. packets today between 8:00 AM and noon.
In other matters related to the Nashville schools this week, parent/teacher conferences that had been scheduled for Thursday are postponed. Report cards were to have been given out during the conference day.
Superintendent Graham said report cards will be sent out March 31st. If students are in class that day, the report cards will be sent home with students. Should school still not be in session, the report cards will be mailed out on the 31st.
Cheerleader tryouts in the district were scheduled for later this week but those will be rescheduled at some point when classes resume.
Despite the district not having school this week, today’s meeting of the Nashville School Board will take place as scheduled at 5:30 p.m.
