Nashville Informed Of First COVID-19 Case
The city of Nashville has its first confirmed COVID-19 case. Mayor Billy Ray Jones made the announcement Sunday afternoon. He encouraged local residents to exercise social distancing and to stay at home unless the trips are a necessity for things like work.
The mayor noted that the next few weeks could be a critical time for the community.
With the addition of the local case yesterday, Howard County now has five confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Sevier County saw their case number double yesterday from three to six.
Pike and Hempstead counties continue to have fewer than four cases each and Little River still has no confirmed COVID-19 cases.
