Local Nursing Facility Reporting Covid-19 Case

A Nashville nursing home has joined the state health department’s list of long term care facilities in Arkansas that are reporting at least one confirmed case of COVID-19.

The Springs of Mine Creek facility in Nashville has one patient that has tested positive for the coronavirus according to the health department.

More than two dozen nursing homes and care facilities across the state have patients and/or healthcare workers who have contracted the virus.

The department of health issued directives March 13th banning the public from visiting nursing homes. The measure also required employees to be questioned and undergo a health screening.
