Area City Councils Scheduled For July Meetings Today

City councils in Murfreesboro and Mineral Springs meet today for their regular July sessions. The only item listed for Murfreesboro aldermen is an ordinance related to tourism. Their meeting starts at 6:30 this evening in the municipal room

At Mineral Springs, today’s council meeting will begin at 5:30 and is scheduled to take place remotely via conference call.

Items for discussion include amending the peddler’s ordinance which has previously been discussed. Council members are also expected to consider a lease agreement for Premiere Broadband to put equipment on the water tower. Mineral Springs aldermen will also be presented the state’s ordinance on mask wearing.
